Raigarh: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Finance Minister O P Choudhary held a press conference in Raigarh on Tuesday May 27 , 2025 . During this discussion held in the Collectorate hall, CM gave information about the state government’s schemes and Sushasan Tihar. The Chief Minister said that Sushasan Tihar is being conducted in three phases.

The first phase ran from 8 to 11 April, the second from 12 April to 5 May and the third phase has started from 5 May onwards . Under this campaign, ministers and officials are continuously inspecting the districts. Raigarh was the 26th district visit of the Chief Minister.

He said that he himself is meeting the beneficiaries and taking information about the ground implementation of the schemes. He praised the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and said that women are becoming economically empowered by this. Housing construction has accelerated under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Efforts are on to provide water to every house under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Giving the example of a woman resident of Kanakbira, the Chief Minister said that the impact of the schemes is bringing positive change in the lives of the people. He said that the purpose of Sushasan Tihar is to take feedback by taking the government’s schemes to the public.

Targeting the previous Congress government, he said that the Congress party used to say that the proof of the Jhiram Valley incident is in their pocket. Despite being in power for five years, no concrete initiative was taken on the Jhiram Valley incident, whereas the BJP government started effective action against Naxalism as soon as it came to power, due to which this problem is now in its final stage.

The Chief Minister appealed to the farmers to cultivate crops like maize instead of paddy in the summer season, so that the water crisis can be controlled. On the issue of rationalisation, he clarified that this step has been taken to improve the level of education of children. On the question of the displeasure of the teachers, he said that they should clarify the reason for the displeasure, so that a solution can be found. This visit of the Chief Minister is being considered important in the direction of public relations and review of schemes.
