2 years of marriage, 8 years of legal battle, finally billionaire actor Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separated

Hollywood industry’s most famous couple, actor Brad Pitt and actress Angelina Jolie, have got divorced after a long legal battle that lasted for about eight years. Both of them started dating each other in 2005. They got married in 2014. Both of them have 6 children. Out of which Angelina has adopted 3 children.

The couple filed a petition in the court in 2016 to end their marriage, but due to some agreements, their divorce could not be finalized in the long legal process. The court declared both of them single in 2019. But this divorce was completely confirmed in the year 2024.

Angelina’s lawyer James Simon told the Associated Press (AP) news agency that his client is now at peace after the grueling divorce case.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce is one of the longest divorce cases in the Hollywood industry. James said, ‘About eight years ago, Angelina filed a divorce case against Pitt.’

James further said, ‘In fact, Angelina is tired of it but she is relieved that this part is over now.’ The reason for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce was said to be a fight that started in their private jet.

Angelina filed a divorce case against Brad Pitt in 2016 in which she said that Brad Pitt misbehaved with her and the children when they were on their plane on a Europe trip. Brad abused Angelina at that time, beat her, and also abused the children. Seeing all this, Angelina decided to take a divorce.

But after ending their relationship, a settlement regarding their 6 children and property was yet to be made. Which has now been completed in the year 2024. The couple has kept all the details of their settlement private. They had hired a private judge for this.
